Cottages

The cottages are available in both single and duplex dwelling structures and are located along Wesley Drive and Otterbein Lane on the community campus. People living in the cottages must be at least 65 years old. The unit lump sum rental cost ranges from $80,000.00 to $120,000.00, depending on the age, size, appraisal value, modifications or changes made by the previous occupants. The cottage plan assures you nursing care when, and if, you require it, either on a temporary or permanent basis. You are guaranteed the next available bed in the nursing facility once you notify The Manor of a need. The investment in a cottage is amortized for equity purposes across 10 years. Cottagers may take all or any of the meals in the Manor dining room or have meals delivered to their homes for a nominal fee. The monthly maintenance fee of $250.00 covers general outside maintenance of the cottage, grass cutting, snow removal, garbage removal, local school taxes, and real estate taxes, liability insurance, and fire insurance. The Manor van service is also available to the cottagers on a regular basis.
