"The Right Choice For Specialized Care"

The Crossroads is a specialized care unit within the Arbutus Park Retirement Community. It has a capacity for 42 residents at the intermediate and skilled level of nursing care. There are 18 semiprivate rooms with shared bathroom facilities and 6 private rooms with private baths. A spacious dining room, kitchen, family lounge, and living room with a television, stereo, and organ are all located within the Crossroads unit.

This is a specialized care unit with 24 hour nursing care is available for persons with Alzheimer's or related dementia. It provides a secure setting with door alarms and hallway monitoring using the Wanderguard protective alarm system. There is also a secured outside area with a patio where residents can sit or walk as weather permits. Daily therapeutic activities geared to various levels of dementia are provided from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and all staff is trained in providing for the special care needs of the residents. The room/board rates are $187.00/day/person for a private room and $184.00/day/person for a semi-private room.
